Pregnant. With. Meaning.

A six-month intimate mentoring & coaching container for practitioners and coaches longing to work more symbolically, imaginally, and deeply

There are moments in life when something in us knows change is coming long before the mind can explain it.

Almost sixteen months ago, a few days before giving birth to my second child, I found myself overwhelmed by anxiety.

At the same time, I was standing at the threshold of another birth entirely: the beginning of my Jungian psychoanalytic training after years in the making.

No matter what I tried, the anxiety would not leave.

Until one evening, I stopped trying to fix it.

I sat quietly in the dark and listened.

And as I stayed with the sensations moving through my body, an image emerged spontaneously: a beastly woman — half woman, half animal.

Wild. Ancient. Magnetic.

As I entered into relationship with her through active imagination, something in me shifted completely. My body softened. The anxiety disappeared. And for the first time, I stopped resisting what was trying to emerge through me.

That same night, at 39 weeks pregnant, I gave birth at home instinctively, powerfully, and with a profound sense of trust in my body.

Something about that experience changed me forever.

Because symbols are not abstract concepts to interpret from a distance.

They are living processes carrying movement, emotion, meaning, and transformation.

And this is why I created Pregnant With Meaning.

Symbols, not as concepts, but as lived experiences

What we will be exploring:

  • An abstract outline icon with a starburst contained within a circle shape.

    Symbols

How meaning emerges through image, emotion, paradox, and symbolic process rather than linear explanation.

  • An abstract outline icon with diagonal lines within a circle shape.

    Dreams

Learning how to engage dreams as communications from the unconscious rather than problems to solve.

  • An abstract outline icon with a rainbow-shaped pattern within a circle shape.

    Active Imagination

Developing relationship with spontaneous images, inner figures, and unconscious material.

  • An abstract outline icon with geometric and diagonal lines across a circle shape.

    Archetypes

Understanding how symbolic images arise from deeper psychic structures and patterns.

  • An abstract outline icon of a circle sliced into different proportions on the left and right sides, like a pizza.

    The Unconscious

About Me

Hello , I’m Mariam. I am a Master-level Jungian Life Coach, a perinatal practitioner, yoga teacher, and currently in psychoanalytic training with the Guild of Analytical Psychology in London.

My work sits at the intersection of Jungian psychology, symbolic process, and lived experience — with a particular focus on how the psyche speaks through images, dreams, symptoms, and moments of inner disruption.

My entry into this field was not purely intellectual.

It came through a period in my own life where anxiety, uncertainty, and inner conflict could no longer be understood through the frameworks I had previously relied on. Something deeper was trying to come through, and it was only when I began to relate to these experiences symbolically — rather than trying to manage or eliminate them — that a different kind of understanding emerged.

Images began to arise. Dreams became more vivid. Inner figures and bodily knowing started to carry meaning I could not access through thinking alone.

This changed how I understand the psyche.

Not as something to be fixed, but as something alive, expressive, and inherently meaningful in its symbolic language.

Alongside my Jungian and psychoanalytic training, I continue to draw on yoga and embodied practice, which support my attention to the way psyche and body speak together through sensation, image, and movement.

My work now is devoted to this space of listening — where symbols are not interpreted too quickly, but allowed to unfold, move, and reveal what they are carrying.

This is the space I hold in Pregnant With Meaning

FAQs

What kind of experience should I have to join?

1

You should already have some experience working in a coaching, therapeutic, or facilitation role and have some familiarity with reflective or depth-oriented work. A basic openness to Jungian ideas is enough — you do not need to be advanced in symbolic work.

How much does it cost?

2

The investment is £3500 GBP for the full six-month container. Payment plans are available. Concessions may also be offered upon application. Please get in touch to discuss further.

How many people are in the group?

3

This is a small, semi-private container with limited places to ensure depth, intimacy, and individual attention. Numbers are intentionally kept low (max 6).

Is this therapy of clinical training?

4

No. This is a professional mentoring and coaching container grounded in Jungian psychology. It is educational and experiential in nature and is not a substitute for therapy or clinical supervision.
